Dr. Nadeem Qazi is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist based in London, UK.

His background includes a very diverse medical career which has been varied and exciting. Having completed an MD in HIV & Immunology and during his time in research he was actively involved in pioneering new studies, writing protocols for future projects, and setting in motion a number of studies which have been generously funded by grants and awarded. He is currently involved in a number of projects focusing on intervention, which will be presented later this year at RSNA. In addition he is writing up papers which formed part of my thesis, some of which have recently been accepted for publication.

Dr Qazi is keen to ultimately pursue a career in Cross Sectional Radiology with an interest in Intervention. To date he performed a number of procedures competently both independently and under indirect supervision. He has had the opportunity to develop his skills further and is grateful for the opportunity King's college Hospital provided him with exposure to vascular, reno-vascular/urological and hepato-biliary intervention. Dr. Qazi say's "In addition to the intervention there has been the opportunity to maintain a cross section interest and I feel comfortable that I have the necessary skill mix in plain film, ultrasound, CT & MR. Special CT, fluoroscopy and ultrasound sessions have allowed me to perform and become proficient in imaging guided drainages, aspirations and biopsies, plus radiofrequency ablation of liver lesions".
